Stephen Caunter has been a regular presenter at our conferences for many years, and has evolved to doing the MC role! Stephen’s motto is enthusiasm, entertainment and knowledge. Ask him what his job is and he will tell you “storyteller”. The majority of his career has been dedicated to working with business customers and helping them with the issues they face. He is well regarded as a conference speaker, and more recently now the champion of the webinar!! Outside of work Stephen is interested in all kinds of sports, a rugby referee, fly fisherman, whitebaiter and when time permits turns his hand to restoring vintage machinery.

CONFLICT RESOLUTION – 1 GenDO
Stephen will host a workshop on conflict resolution, difficult customers / patients, and having that difficult conversation.
Learning outcomes:
1 Recognise situations that may lead to conflict in professional practice and explain how respectful, ethical communication supports positive outcomes for patients, colleagues, and other health professionals.
2 Apply practical communication and conflict resolution strategies to manage difficult conversations while maintaining professionalism, respect, and patient-centred care.
3 Reflect on personal communication styles and develop strategies to manage conflict constructively, contributing to collaborative relationships and maintaining public confidence in the profession.
